Anti-sex Trafficing/Brooklyn's DA Offices
When we spotted a piece in the New York Times describing the existence of sex traffickers right here at home, we wrote to District Attorney Charles Hynes and offered to help publicize the new hotline his office had set up.
He took us up on it, and two months later our campaign was introduced at a large press conference in Brooklyn. Posters were made in 5 languages; radio announcements were delivered gratis by Sarah Jessica Parker and Gabourey Sidibe. Since the campaign went public, there have been more than a dozen indictments and many innocent 14-17 year old victims have been rescued, protected and returned safely to their parents.
