When the symbolic voice of the iconic COSMO, Helen Gurley Brown, stepped down, the very identity of the magazine held its breath. COSMO was Helen Gurley Brown. And vice-versa. Our job was to renew the spirit without sacrificing an eyelash of the COSMO-esque equity Ms. Brown had worked so hard to build.

To us, the words that defined the reader of the world's largest young women's magazine, were three. Fun. Fearless. Female. Now in its second decade, the theme has gone global. At the left, a coverwrap celebrating COSMO's huge, all-over-the-world success.
